The Government has introduced a Rs. 20,000 grant each year to cover the cost of food and lodging for school children. Subsequently he started a medical insurance program under the name of '' Wellness Sri ''.  

This will help people in the state not only in Andhra Pradesh but also in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Telangana. Andhra Pradesh government will bear the cost. He said the complete liquor ban would be implemented by 2024. Jagan Mohan Reddy assumed office as the first Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

In the meantime, he has released a new project for the state. Accordingly, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has decided to provide monthly pension to patients suffering from chronic diseases. This means that patients with chronic diseases, including thalassemia, anemia and hemophilia, will receive a subsidy of Rs 10,000 per month.

It has been announced that a monthly stipend of Rs. People are required to obtain certificates from local government medical college hospitals to avail these benefits.
